RSA FSCA published information request 2 of 2025 (FAIS) and questionnaire relating to an official request from FSCA regarding crypto asset-related activities performed by licensed Crypto Asset Service Providers (CASPs) in compliance with Financial Advisory Intermediary Services Act 37/2002.
Information Request
The information gathered will assist RSA FSCA in understanding the scope, nature and risks associated with crypto asset-related activities.
CASPs are licensed entities providing financial services related to crypto assets under the FAIS Act and exemptions in FSCA FAIS Notice 90 of 2022.
RSA FSCA declared crypto assets as financial products under FAIS Act in Oct. 2022.
This request builds on prior data collection efforts to enhance regulatory development, consumer protection, and market integrity; FSCA seeks updated/detailed information on crypto asset services to better understand the domestic crypto ecosystem.
Failure to comply constitutes an offence under the Financial Sector Regulation Act.

Effectiveness
CASPs must complete an online questionnaire with information as of Jun. 30, 2025; and submit it by Dec. 5, 2025.
