SBA made low-interest Economic injury disaster loans (EIDLs) available for Maryland businesses hit by recent heatwaves beginning on Jun. 6 through Oct. 22, 2024.
Small businesses, agricultural cooperatives, businesses engaged in aquaculture, and most private nonprofits with economic losses due to the drought are eligible.

Application Deadline
Completed loan applications must be submitted to SBA by Jul. 28, 2025.
