SBA Arkansas Economic Disaster Loans

Published on: Nov 12, 2024

On Nov. 8, SBA made disaster loans available due to hurricanes.

  • SBA made Economic injury disaster loans (EIDLs) available to Arkansas businesses.
  • Neighboring counties in Mississippi and Tennessee are also now eligible for loans.
  • Offset economic losses because of reduced revenues caused by excessive rain and high winds from hurricanes in primary counties that occurred Sep. 12 until Oct. 1, 2024.
  • Aid Available
  • Small non-farm businesses, agricultural cooperatives, businesses engaged in aquaculture and most private nonprofits may qualify for EIDLs of up to $2 million.
  • These funds must be used to help meet financial obligations and operating expenses which could have been met by the small businesses had the disasters not occurred.
  • Deadline
  • Completed applications for EIDLs must be submitted to SBA by Jul. 7, 2025.
