Overview
Summary of deposits (SOD) is annual survey of branch office deposits as of Jun. 30, 2025, for FDIC-insured institutions, including insured US branches of foreign banks.
Institutions with branch offices are required to submit survey, institutions with only a main office exempt; survey responses are required by Jul. 31, 2025; no extensions.
Consultation
Beginning Jul. 1, 2025, institutions may submit their SOD survey for Jul. 31, 2025.
However, FDIC recommends institutions to submit Call Report for Jun. 30, 2025, before filing SOD survey, to enable comparisons of deposit totals between the reports.
By Jul. 31, 2025, all institutions' completed SOD survey must be received by FDIC.
