May 27, 2025 SBA Relief to Storm Victims
On May 27, 2025, SBA made disaster relief available to businesses, private nonprofits (PNPs), and residents affected by the severe storms and tornadoes on May 16-17.
Small businesses and most PNPs in the first tier of counties are eligible for both physical damage loans and Economic injury disaster loans (EIDLs) from the SBA.
In the second tier of designated counties, these parties can only apply for EIDLs.
Businesses and nonprofits are eligible to apply for business physical disaster loans.
Homeowners and renters are eligible to apply for home and personal property loans.
Completed physical damage applications must be received by the SBA by Jul. 22, 2025; for EIDLs, the applications must be received no later than Feb. 23, 2026.
