On May 27, 2025, IND NSE reminded trading members whose policies expire on May 31, 2025, must submit the renewed policy details through ENIT by Jul. 31, 2025.
For policies expiring on dates other than May 31, 2025, members have 1 month from expiry date to submit renewed policy details; submissions are accepted only via ENIT.
On May 24, IND NSE asked trading members to submit details.
IND NSE issued circular which asks trading members to ensure that their stock brokers indemnity policy is in order for period 2024-25, and submit the details through Electronic NSE Interface for Trading Members (referred to as ENIT) by Jul. 31, 2024.
Follows IND NSE Jun. 2020 asked trading members to submit details, see #79097.

Trading members whose stock brokers indemnity policy is expiring on May 31, 2024 are required to submit the required details through ENIT on or before July 31, 2024.
Trading members who hold stock brokers indemnity policy expiring after May 31, 2024 are granted a period of 1 month from expiry to submit the details of renewed policy.
Therefore, if expiring Jun. 1, 2024, would have until Jul. 1, 2024 to submit details.
Failure to submit within prescribed timelines attracts INR 1k/day late submission levy.
Effectiveness
Compliance is required by as early as Jul. 1, 2024 in certain circumstances.
