No agreement can provide that tenant agrees to waive or forgo any right to bring, join, or participate in any cause of action against tenant's landlord or representative.
Also, cannot sign a nondisclosure agreement re lease agreement or details of offer, including rent amount, security deposits, fees, concessions, move-in gifts, lease terms.
Act applies to leases rental agreements entered or renewed on, after effective date.
