Purpose
The bill amends the Criminal Code to transpose EU Dir 2024/1226 defining the criminal offenses and sanctions for the violation of Union restrictive measures and amending Dir 2018/1673 which is intended to ensure the effective application of Union restrictive measures and the integrity of the internal market in the Union, the protection of the Union's values, the preservation of international peace and security, as well as the consolidation and promotion of democracy, the rule of law and human rights.

Details on the concept of gross negligence in relation to the fault of the offender.
Special provisions on the upper limit of the fine that may be imposed on a legal person in the event of such an infringement; protection of persons reporting infringements.

Effectiveness
The law enters into force on Aug. 1, 2025, and is forwarded to the editorial office.
