On Jul. 2, 2025, TAI Justice, Ministry of Health and Welfareamended articles 3 and 4 of the regulations above, to extend the pension premium subsidy for one month.
The subsidy period is changed from Apr. 2023 to Dec. 2023 to Mar. 2023 to Dec. 2023.
Eligible insured period shall pay the pension premium by Oct. 31, 2025.
On Apr. 14, TAI Justice issued rules on post-pandemic pension subsidy.
TAI Justice promulgated Regulations of the post-pandemic subsidization for the premiums of the national pension insurance of the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
Regulations
Subsidize 50% of national pension premium for eligible insured persons who shall pay the pension premium by Oct. 31, 2025; subsidy for the period from Apr. to Dec. 2023.
Subsidy amount will be adjusted accordingly because of retroactive changes in the qualifications for adding insurance or subsidizing status before Nov. 1, 2025.
Effectiveness
The regulation is effective from Apr. 14, 2023.
