Follows UK OFSI issued UK Treasury notice adding Evraz Ltd to the consolidated list.
Notice also amends entry for Alexander Vladimirovich Korotkiy (group ID: 15161).
8 entries have been corrected on the list and still remain subject to an asset freeze.
License Conditions
Under regulation 64 of Russia (Sanctions) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019, general licence allows for continuation of business operations of North American subsidiaries of Evraz.
A person may continue business operations involving the North American subsidiaries including, but not limited to payments to or from North American subsidiaries under obligations or contracts; payments to or from any third party under any obligations or contracts; receipt of payments made by North American subsidiaries for audit services.
Effectiveness
The licence takes effect from May 5, 2022 and expires on Sep. 2, 2022.
Aug. 2022 Extension
On Aug. 18, 2022, UK OFSI extended Evraz general licence to expire on Mar. 31, 2023.
Feb. 2023 Extension
On Feb. 13, 2023, UK OFSI extended Evraz general licence to expire on Sep. 30, 2023.
May 2023 Definition Amended
On May 4, 2023, UK OFSI issued amendment to North American subsidiaries definition.
Jun. 2023 Extended License
On Jun. 26, 2023, UK OFSI extended expiry date of license to 23:59 on Mar. 31, 2024.
