On Nov. 8, SBA made disaster loans available due to hurricanes.
SBA made Economic injury disaster loans (EIDLs) available to Arkansas businesses.
Neighboring counties in Mississippi and Tennessee are also now eligible for loans.
Offset economic losses because of reduced revenues caused by excessive rain and high winds from hurricanes in primary counties that occurred Sep. 12 until Oct. 1, 2024.
Aid Available
Small non-farm businesses, agricultural cooperatives, businesses engaged in aquaculture and most private nonprofits may qualify for EIDLs of up to $2 million.
These funds must be used to help meet financial obligations and operating expenses which could have been met by the small businesses had the disasters not occurred.
Deadline
Completed applications for EIDLs must be submitted to SBA by Jul. 7, 2025.
