  • DEL LEG passed Bill HB 147, Uniform real property transfer on death act, which amends Delaware code DEL LEG 12, DEL INS 18, DEL LEG 25, and DEL LEG 30.

  • If a policy has an expiration date less than 60 days after the death of the transferor, INS coverage continues for 30 days or until policy expiration date, whichever is later.
  • Transfer on death deed authorized in Title 25 does not require transfer-tax affidavit, real estate return to be recorded with/accepted by recorder of deeds to be effective.
