Overview
Relief applies to FHA-insured single family mortgages in the Presidentially-Declared Major Disaster Areas (PDMDAs) resulting from Hurricanes Helene and Milton.
The extensions provide more time for impacted American families in devastated areas to seek federal, state, or local assistance without being subject to foreclosure.
Borrowers and renters can receive mortgage, relief, housing, disaster relief, 100% financing for those whose homes were destroyed, and FHA Sanction 203(b) loans.
Effectiveness
The relief is available for an additional ninety days.
