On Sep. 13, SBA reported disaster loans available in 17 ND counties.
SBA Economic injury disaster loans (EIDLs) available to North Dakota small businesses to offset economic damages caused by drought beginning on Aug. 29, 2023.
Eligibility
Loans available in primary ND counties Benson, Bottineau, Cavalier, McHenry, Pierce, Ramsey, Rolette and Towner; Neighboring North Dakota counties: Eddy, and McLean.
Also available in Nelson, Pembina, Renville, Sheridan, Walsh, Ward and Wells counties.
Disaster Loans available of up to $2 million to help meet financial obligations and operating expenses which could have been met had the disaster not occurred.
Relief Available
Covers both economic impact on businesses dependent on farmers and ranchers that have suffered agricultural production losses, businesses directly impacted by disaster.
Small nonfarm businesses, agricultural cooperatives, businesses engaged in aquaculture and most private nonprofit organizations any size may qualify for EIDLs.
Loans may be up to $2 million to help meet financial obligations and operating expenses which could have been met had the disaster not occurred.
Eligibility based on financial impact of disaster only, and not on actual damage.
Application Deadline
Completed EIDL loan applications must be submitted to SBA by May 6, 2024.
