On Jan. 29, GA INS issued directive for mental health parity filing.
GA INS issued Directive 24-EX-1 regarding the annual submission of mental health parity and addiction equity (including autism spectrum disorder (ASD)) data call.
Agency has contracted with Regulatory Insurance Advisors LLC (RIA) to facilitate the collection and analysis of reported mental health parity data, which includes ASD.
Submission Instructions
Insurers should submit contact person data, company name, and NAIC Code.
RIA will then create an Insurer-specific data call folder on a secure ShareFile website containing the data call template and instructions for the insurer for filing.
ShareFile folder will contain data call templates and allow for uploading responses.
Reporting Deadline
Must obtain ShareFile folder by May 8, 2024, and report data by May 15, 2024.
