Traceback Reporting
Telephone robocall abuse criminal enforcement and deterrence (TRACE) act (PL 116-105) required FCC to seek information annually about the status of traceback efforts.
Requests information from voice service providers (VSPs) and registered consortium.
Report must include a description of private-led efforts to trace back origin of unlaw robocalls, a list of VSPs that participated and a list of VSPs requested to participate.
The reason, if any, each VSP identified by the registered consortium provided for not participating in private-led efforts to trace back origin of suspected unlawful robocalls.
Additionally, provide a description of how FCC will use information to trace back the origin of suspected unlawful robocalls in the enforcement efforts by the Commission.
